Description

Sets the number shown on one of the destroyer's hull number selections. It applies the texture \A3\Boat_F_Destroyer\Destroyer_01\Data\Destroyer_01_N_0<number>_co.paa to the given hidden selection of a ship part with setObjectTextureGlobal. Because the number is put after a fixed "0" in the file name, it is meant to be a single digit (0..9). The function is called by the expressions of the destroyer's custom hull number attributes in the Eden Editor, and does nothing outside the server.

Syntax

[shipPart, number, selection] call BIS_fnc_destroyer01InitHullNumbers

Parameters:

Returns: Nothing

Examples

Example 1

Eden attribute of the destroyer that sets the first digit (from the function's header):

class CustomShipNumber1
{
    displayName = "$STR_3den_object_attribute_CustomShipNumber1_displayname";
    tooltip = "$STR_3den_object_attribute_CustomShipNumber1_tooltip";
    property = "CustomShipNumber1";
    control = "EditShort";
    expression = "[([_this, 'Land_Destroyer_01_hull_01_F'] call bis_fnc_destroyer01GetShipPart), _value, 0] spawn bis_fnc_destroyer01InitHullNumbers;";
    defaultValue = "0";
    validate = "number";
    condition = "object";
    typeName = "NUMBER";
};

Example 2

// on the server: show the digit 7 on hidden selection 0 of the first hull part
private _hull = [myDestroyer, "Land_Destroyer_01_hull_01_F"] call BIS_fnc_destroyer01GetShipPart;
[_hull, 7, 0] call BIS_fnc_destroyer01InitHullNumbers;
