# OneDrive Fix

[Microsoft](https://www.microsoft.com)'s [OneDrive](https://onedrive.live.com/) can lead to issues accessing player profiles in BI games.

To avoid this issue, multiple options are available:

- Force OneDrive to keep this directory on the machine (right-click → Always keep on this device)
- Exclude `Documents` or game-related directories from OneDrive coverage
- Change player profiles' location:

| Enfusion games (Arma Reforger, Arma 4) | Real Virtuality games (DayZ, Arma) |
|---|---|
| - Go to the `%userProfile%\Documents\My Games` directory<br>- Move both `ArmaReforger` and `ArmaReforgerWorkbench` directories (if present) to a new directory that is **not** in `%userProfile%\Documents`<br>- Run the game with the profile startup parameter, e.g: `ArmaReforgerSteam.exe -profile "C:\NewArmaReforgerDir"`<br>  [Steam](../topics/Steam.md): Game > Properties > General > Launch Options | - Go to the `%userProfile%\Documents` directory<br>- Move the game profile directories to a new directory that is **not** in `%userProfile%\Documents`<br>  - DayZ: `DayZ` and `DayZ Other Profiles`<br>  - Arma 3: `Arma 3` and `Arma 3 - Other Profiles`<br>  - Arma 2: `ArmA 2` and `ArmA 2 - Other Profiles`<br>  - Armed Assault: `ArmA` and `ArmA - Other Profiles`<br>- Run the game with the [profiles](../topics/Startup_Parameters.md#profiles) startup parameter, e.g: `arma3_x64.exe -profiles="C:\NewArmaProfileDirectory"`<br>  [Steam](../topics/Steam.md): Game > Properties > General > Launch Options<br>> [!NOTE]<br>> This does not concern Operation Flashpoint / Arma: Cold War Assault. |
