# Eden ID

Eden ID is unique index of an [Eden Entity](../topics/Eden_Entity.md). This [Number](../topics/Number.md) remains the same even after saving and loading the scenario. [Editor layers](../commands/add3DENLayer.md) and [Editor comments](../topics/Eden_Editor~3A_Comment.md) are always represented by their Eden ID
