# BIS_fnc_displayClouds

*Function · GUI · Arma 3 v0.50 · introduced in Take On Helicopters v1.00*

## Description

Shows or removes the moving clouds background used by Take On Helicopters menus: the `RscClouds` title resource on layer 759.
With mode 1 the function adds `MouseMoving` and `MouseHolding` event handlers to the given display; they create the layer on the first mouse movement.

> [!NOTE]
> This is a Take On Helicopters leftover. In Arma 3 the cloud animation is commented out and the only picture the function sets is the Take On Helicopters logo (`\HSim\UI_H\data\helisim_logo_ca.paa`), which does not exist, so nothing is shown.
> Arma 3 calls it only without arguments, in the `onUnload` of `RscDisplayInterruptRevert.sqf` and `RscDisplayHeliportMain.sqf`, to remove the layer.

## Syntax

```sqf
[display, mode] call BIS_fnc_displayClouds
```

**Parameters:**

- `display`: [Display](../topics/Display.md) - (Optional, default [displayNull](../commands/displayNull.md)) display that gets the mouse event handlers (mode 1 only)
- `mode`: [Number](../topics/Number.md) - (Optional, default 0)

  - 1: add the mouse event handlers to the display
  - 0: remove the clouds layer
  - negative: toggle the fade of controls with IDC 1200 to 1210 in the layer

**Returns:** [Nothing](../topics/Nothing.md)

```
### Example 2
